Applewood Probus Club is a social club for retired and semi-retired professionals and businessmen. We are a place to make new friends and get together with old friends.
We offer activities that are cerebral, active, social and gastronomic. We are a volunteer organization that thrives because we all participate and help organize some of our activities.
Some of our activities are for members only, but many welcome partners and friends.
The meeting starts around 9:30AM with coffee and socializing. At 10:00 the formal business gets under way. We introduce guests and new members, then hear an interesting guest speaker, which is followed by a lively Q&A session.
The key is social. No fundraising or politics are allowed.
We regularly organize trips to sporting events such as baseball and hockey, theatres, both local and a bus ride away, plant tours, and many other venues.
